Tobias slowly walked up the pavement to the sign of the pub, which was slowly creaking in the gentle midday wind. He looked around at the sky and the clouds which were lazily drifting over head. His face remained neutral as he slowly removed a cigarette from its packet and held one finger near the end of it. A small flame popped into existence from the tip of his finger, flickering in the breeze. Tobias drew deeply, then let the flame go out once he was satisfied the cigarette was lit. He savored the taste and the feeling of the smoke in his lungs. He slowly exhaled, smoke pouring from his nostrils.
A small smile crept onto his face as he looked at the cigarette. It was smoke and fire that had killed him, but now neither would harm him. He walked into the pub, still smoking and considering his past few centuries of life. He reached the bar, and a curt cough from the waiting barman broke him from his day dreaming.
Tobias regarded the barman with an expression of amusement for a second before saying, "Just a pint of the house ale. And keep a tab and keep me topped up. I'm going to be here for a while."

Lucia was sat in a darkened corner of the pub, well away from the rest of the rabble, her long white hair hanging down over one shoulder. She sipped at her glass, vodka and coke with ice, and surveyed the new comer over its rim. A smile pulled at her features as her senses found the aura of death that surrounded him. Daemon. She placed her almost empty glass on the table, the ice clinknig against the glass, and gracefull uncrossed her legs and stood.
Making sure that her floor length dress, which was slit up to the upper thigh, was appropraitely settled, she walked across to the Daemon man and leaned against the bartop beside him. "Barkeep," she said, as sense of command in her voice, clicking her fingers "Another vodka and coke, and put whatever my friend here is having on my tab." She motioned to the Daemon and smiled at him, her lips an almost taunting curve, her eyes half-lidded. As the barman went about fixing her drink she winked at the man and said "After all, Daemons need to stick together."

Tobias slowly looked over at the newcomer as she lent next to him and ordered another drink and put his ale on her tab. He nodded in thanks, his face remaining impassive as she smiled at him, then winking at him, and saying that Daemons need to stick together.
He regarded her statement in silence for a moment, before replying in a quite voice, "I've been alone since I died, and for most of whilst I was alive. What have you got that rest of the world lacks?" He studied her quickly and added before she could respond.
"Besides an eyepatch, and a smile which is similar to those I grew up with."

Lucia regarded him for a moment, shocked, This was not what she had expected, but then she had always found such unexpected reactions to be a....challenge. "You'd be surprised at what I've got." She said, placing a fingertip on her lips playfully. She laughed, a low rumble, suited to her husky voice.
"So what's your story?" She asked, taking a sip of the drink the bartender had swiftly left for her.

Raising an eyebrow at her, he paused for a moment, considering what he should say or do and what she wanted. He smiled slightly at her playfully putting a finger on her lips, then spoke.
"Depends what you want to hear. I'll start with the basics though. My name's Tobias Reid, but I've gone the many years since my death using the name Baal." He shrugged briefly, then continued. "I figured when I died and became what I am now I needed to change everything about me. So I adopted a new name. I was born nearly 428 years ago, brought up as a street urchin, left home, became a highwayman, got my house burnt down by the town watch, died, came back to life and exacted what little revenge was required on those responsible for killing me and then I started wandering." He took a drink, then smiled again. "I've been almost unheard of in the wider world since I killed those guardsmen, but if you have spare time you can track my movements by 'unexplained' fires.
He took another drink before speaking again. "So what about you?

"Thats quite a history Baal" She said, taking a sip of her drink, and contemplating what he had said. "My name is Lucia, and I got drowned as a witch." She said matter of factly, by way of answering his question. She wondered to herself, eyeing him keenly, if he would be wanting a job. He may not be as bulky as her other bouncers, but a highwayman obviously had a few tricks up his sleeve.
The crowd at The Moon was growing, and she needed more staff to keep things under control. She gnawed at her lip as she thought this, a nightclub out of control was bad for buisness, repairs cost. She needed to nab this one quick if he was to be nabbed at all. "Are you staying for long?" she asked, nonchalontly, running a fingertip over the rim of her glass.

Tobias drank deeply after listening to her brief history, before setting his near empty glass and gesturing to the barkeep that he would be in need another drink soon.
When asked by Lucia how long he was staying for, he shrugged once more. "I'm not sure. I have a plan to settle somewhere, but I've had...difficulty...in fitting in elsewhere." He finished off his ale as the barkeep placed a new one in front of him. He looked at her with an amused expression on his face.
"Why do you ask?"

"A girl cant be curious?" She asked innocently, waving her hand about in a nonchalont gesture. She downed the last of her drink and stood up, flipping her hair over her shoulder again. "You'd be surprised how easy it is here." She said, a playful little smirk gracing her features. She took his hand in a faux parting, leaving behind a folded up peice of paper as her her long fingers swept away again. " It isn't just man who are on The Moon" she said, winking at him, and left the pub, she had other buisness to attend to.
((OOC: The piece of paper is a folded up pamphlet for The Moon, a daemon only nightclub :3)

Nathan raised an eyebrow and her manner, deciding she was deliberately skirting around what she really wanted. She took his hand as she stood to leave and his many years as a highwayman took over, shaking her hand, then bowing his head slightly, before smiling as he felt the piece of folded paper she'd slipped into his hand. Wrinkling his nose in confusion at her cryptic parting words, he waited until she'd left, before carefully holding the piece of paper out of sight of others, and reading it. He smiled as he understood why she'd left him with those final words.
He calmly finished his drink, and nodded to the bar man as he left, another cigarette on its way to his lips, and his finger rising ready to light it. Tobias had decided it was time he investigated this town, and to pay Lucia and The Moon a visit.
